Families First: A Community Rising to Meet the Need

Family homelessness is growing in our community at an alarming rate. In 2024, 587 families reached out to Just Neighbors seeking safety and stability. Because our current space is limited, we could only shelter a fraction of them, meaning 526 families had to hear the words no parent should ever hear: we don’t have room.

No family should be left without a safe place to sleep.

With your support, we are expanding our services to include overnight shelter, ensuring that families in crisis have a warm, secure space the moment they need it. This expansion will allow parents and children to stay safe, and stay together, until a room becomes available in our 45-day housing program.
